Our client is recognised as being one of the leading Private Client firms in the country. They have a long history of advising private clients, both UK and international, and this is a core part of our business. The Private Client and Tax Department advises clients with a diverse asset base, including international businesses, luxury assets (art, yachts, aircraft and classic cars) and traditional landed estates. They specialise in giving proactive estate planning, trusts, commercial and wealth protection advice that helps our clients preserve and enhance their wealth, whilst also ensuring compliance and reputational integrity. Our focus is on providing a very personal service to clients with complex needs.
Their Private Client and Tax team is based in both London and Oxford and consists of a supportive and professional group of lawyers, ranging from newly qualified assistant solicitors to highly experienced and renowned Partners. There is no distinction between the types of work handled in the different locations and client teams are often cross-locational.
As a result of continued growth they are looking for a bright, motivated and enthusiastic Associate to join our London office and be part of a friendly, busy and highly motivated team. We seek candidates who have trained at reputable City or West End Firms who have 2 – 5 years of experience in a private client department. Your experience will ideally include UK and international succession planning and, preferably, a degree of exposure to complex UK / non-UK wealth holding and family office structures and associated UK tax issues.
The successful candidate will advise on the full spectrum of tax planning for ultra high net worth individuals and trustees, family offices, landed estates, family businesses, entrepreneurs and resident/non-resident and domiciled/non-domiciled clients.
- Excellent academics, minimum 2.1 and A,B, B at A Level
